Your privacy is incredibly important to us. Because we built Ball IQ to be a premium, respect-first experience for football fans, we collect as little data as possible to run the game, fix bugs, and support features like matchmaking and global stats. We do not sell your data, and we do not use third-party ad trackers.

  • Account & Profile Data: You can play Ball IQ without an account. However, if you choose to create a profile, customize your player card, or sync your stats, we collect your chosen username and avatar/emoji.
  • Authentication Data: If you choose to sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive a unique token from those providers to securely authenticate you. We do not access or store your social network passwords.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Gameplay & Performance Data: To calculate your Ball IQ score, maintain your daily streaks, track XP, and run leaderboards, we store your in-game answers, scores, and completion metrics.
  • Diagnostics & Crash Logs: To fix bugs and keep the game running smoothly, we collect anonymous crash reports and performance telemetry. This data is stripped of personally identifiable names or emails before it leaves your device.
  • Device Identifiers: We may use anonymous, device-generated identifiers solely to manage real-time online multiplayer matchmaking and local pass-and-play room codes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the game modes (such as Daily Challenge, Party Mode, and Single Player).
  • Synchronize your IQ points, player cards, and stats when you reconnect online.
  • Authenticate your identity when logging in.
  • Monitor app stability, diagnose technical issues, and roll out updates.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We never sell your personal information or gameplay data to third parties. We only share data in the following minimal scenarios:

  • Service Providers: We use trusted third-party cloud infrastructure (like Supabase, and AWS Cloud Services) to securely store server-side game data and sync multiplayer rooms. These providers only use your data to perform services for us.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

We implement industry-standard administrative and technical security measures to safeguard your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, please remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
